Tip of the Week

Château means "castle" in French. When used in connection with wines, Château is always followed by the specific name of the winery.

Côte means "side" and indicates the a slope where the grapes were cultivated and harvested. Different slops in specific areas can produce different qualities of wines on different years of harvest.
